The Boys and Girls Club of Carbon County would like to invite anyone over the age of 21 years old to their 2nd Annual Phantom of the Opera Masquerade Ball on Saturday, March 12th at 6:00 pm at the Tuscan Event Center.

Josie Luke, Director was excited to talk about the annual event, “It’s a benefit for the Boys and Girls Club, we invite people to come in formal attire with masks or they can buy masks there, we provide dinner.” Although formal attire and/or costume are preferred all other apparel is acceptable for the evening’s event.

Anyone over the age of 21 is invited to attend, please no children due to alcohol being served during the event. “It will be held at the Tuscan and it will be March 12th at 6 o’clock, the doors will open at 6 o’clock and then we’ll start dinner at 7:00 then have the band afterward,” said Luke. The band Bobo’s Revenge from Salt Lake City will entertain the crowd with classic rock, blues, reggae, punk and jazz.

To purchase tickets for the event stop by the Boys and Girls Club located at 30 East 200 South. Luke added, “They are $25.00 per person or $40.00 per couple and we also have table prices of about $200.00 if a company wanted to purchase that.” Since this is a fundraiser for the Boys and Girls Club the cost to attend will be the same regardless if you attend the social hour or dinner portion of the event.

Luke concluded with, “Ultimately you’re benefiting boys and girls who come to our club every day. You know, it really comes down to that. If the work we do with kids every day who need our help is worth that much money to you and I think that’s an easy, easy thing to do.”
