Fierce Fighting Championship will hold the official weigh-ins for Saturday night’s “Justice” card at the Silver Crown Events Center Friday evening beginning at 6:00 pm. The event is open to the public, with no charge for entrance.

“Justice” is the second fight card under the promotion of FFC, and will take place Saturday night at the Carbon County Fairgrounds Event Center. The card is expected to have a minimum of 10 fights and will also feature local professionals Cody Bunderson and Cy Nelson.

“You’ve been thinking about your opponent for the last eight weeks and you finally get to see that opponent and look him in the eye the night of the weigh-in,” said Bunderson, owner and promoter for FFC. “Some of these stare-downs get a little heated and it’s a lot fun.”

Each fighter that is scheduled to appear on the card will step onto the scales to make sure they are within the contracted weight. The main event will feature Nelson going toe-to-toe with Jordan Marriott at 155 lbs. Nelson, an Emery county native, is a perfect 2-0 during his professional career.

Also featured on the card is local physician Nicholas Hansen who will fight fellow amateur Taylor O’Neill. Two female bouts at the 115 pound weight limit will also accompany the card as Soula Koukouvetakis meets Magaly Sanchez, and Mali Rahimian battles Lupita Patino.

The fight card itself will begin at 7:00 pm on Saturday night, and the doors will open at 5:00. Tickets are available at Castle Country Radio, Ricardo’s, Swifts Stop N’ Shop, Squiggy’s Subs and Dogs, Matsuda Acupuncture and Tougher Gym. Remaining tickets will be available at the door the night of the event.
