Allen (Moe) Paul Stevens of Moroni, Utah, died peacefully while fighting a valiant battle of pancreatic cancer while on his last adventure to see the ocean in California, resting in the arms of his loving wife and in the presence of his sister in law and cousin on June 26, 2016 at the age of 50.

Moe was born on June 30, 1965, in Mount Pleasant, Utah to parents Paul Blaine (Cob) Stevens and Lola Faye (Blackham). He grew up in Moroni where he graduated from North Sanpete High School in 1983 and received his associates in Building Construction from Snow College. He was a member of the LDS church growing up. He was a contractor from a young age and was often ‘borrowing’ his dad’s tools. He loved building with his hands, the beauty of wood, and listening to the wood thunder on the ground as he cut it, just like his dad. He possessed a special zest for life. His hobbies included searching for arrowheads, rocks, and to see all of the beauty of nature. Moe met his love Kelli Ann (Madsen), they were blessed with six beautiful children, two children by a previous relationship. Moe loved music, particularly thumping Volbeat and AC/DC. Moe was a hardworking, skilled man, who knew how to fix anything. He was always loyal to his friends, willing to lend a helping hand to those in need without retribution. Moe delighted in having a good time cooking and barbequing for his friends and family. Mo’s presence and love for life will be dearly missed by those who knew him.

Moe is survived by his parents Paul (Lola) Stevens, devoted wife Kelli Stevens; six children, son Tyrell of Fairhope, AL, daughters Shayne Marie of Salt Lake City, Kylie Lynn of Mount Pleasant, son Brady Nicholas (Beanz), and daughters Chloe Faye, and Peyton Pauline of Huntington; one grandson Bentley Stevens; sisters Sharie Lu (Kerry) Belew of Logan, Lana Jean Greenhall of West Valley City; Katie and Cody Buchanan of Huntington; as well as many family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Howard (Bertha) Blackham, Blaine (Lucile) Stevens, his sister Connie (Claire) Christensen, his good friend Jay Livingston, and his most loyal dog, Reggie.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Castleview Hospital that helped with Mo’s comfort during the last few months.

A memorial service will be held at the Wedge on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 11:00 am.
