The Price City Progress committee would like to invite the community to the “All Spruced Up” presentations for the month of July on Thursday July 28 beginning at 5:30 pm. The committee understands that Thursday evening is a very busy time but will do their best to get all the awards completed before International Days opening ceremonies scheduled for 6:30 pm at the Peace Gardens.

The honored homeowners were judged on “Curb Appeal” by the following criteria: neatness, clean and orderly, most beautiful, display of water conservation, uniqueness, well-trimmed curb and gutter, and clean parking strip. This acknowledgment was a great opportunity for the committee to honor those citizens of Price for the hard work they put into their yards and hopefully to encourage more to do the same.

This month’s “All Spruced Up” Awards and approximate presentation times are as follows:

5:30 pm             Yvonne Hamby at 389 East 200 South

5:45 pm             Calvin and Vikki Christiansen at 333 South 300 West

6:00 pm             Travis Procaroni at 40 East 200 North

6:15 pm             Wilson and Evelyn Henderson at 105 East 600 North

6:30 pm             Stanley Hunt at 810 North 1400 East

This year the entire committee agreed and added a “Chairmen’s Award” which was determined by how a property owner sets an exceptional example of taking pride in and maintaining their property.  This month’s award goes to Wilson and Evelyn Henderson at 105 East 600 North.

The committee encourages residents of Price to congratulate the winners when they see them out around town or just working in their yard.
