Flash flood watch remains in effect through late tonight for Carbon County. Rainfall across the area will continue to become widespread and locally heavy.

Areas at high risk of flash flooding include normally dry washes, canals, small streams. THESE AREAS SHOULD BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS.

Flooding of urban areas with poor drainage and basements are also possible as well as dirt back roads will likely become difficult to navigate.

Precautionary/preparedness actions – sandbags are available at Price City domes and Carbon County Road Shed. Volunteers are still needed as well as provisions for the volunteers, such as bottles of water and snacks.
