After clinching the Region 19 championship on Oct. 19, the Pinnacle Lady Panthers are set to represent the school at the state championship meet on Wednesday at Sugarhouse Park in Salt Lake City.

Savana Dart, Kaeley Taylor and Alexandrea Sherman finished fourth, fifth and sixth at the region meet to help the Lady Panthers claim the region crown. Shylinn Lofley and Kaysha Dunegan-Clegg also logged top 10 finishes as Pinnacle finished seven points lower than second place White Horse.

Senior Hunter Sherman was the lone individual to qualify for Pinnacle on the boys side of the team. Sherman finished 12th with a final time of 6:45.17 to punch his ticket to the season ending meet. Finishing right behind Sherman were teammates Kaden Daughters, Parker Hufford, Liam Bloomer and Remington Motte.

The 1A girls will be the first group to participate in the state finale, beginning at 11:00 am. The boys will follow shortly after 12:00.
