Registration for the upcoming Jr Jazz basketball season is currently open with a deadline set for Thursday, Nov. 10 at the Carbon Recreation office.

Separate leagues are being offered for boys and girls in grades three through 12 for both boys and girls. Practices will begin before Thanksgiving and a clinic will be offered for grades three through six on Nov. 14 and 16.

The cost to register this season is $37.00 for the year. If those who are playing do not have a jersey an additional $10.00 will be added on.

Jr. Jazz is currently the longest-running youth basketball program affiliated with the National Basketball Association, helping introduce youth and build skills since 1983. Individual programs are managed through recreation centers in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Arizona and Nevada. Jr. Jazz emphasizes the development of teamwork and fundamental basketball skills, accompanied by positive adult participation.
