Price Community Progress Committee would like to invite the community to their Third Annual “Old Fashioned Christmas” celebration on Monday, December 5 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Price City Peace Garden.

Diana Wood, Committee Member spoke about the festivity, “Everything is free. Expect to see Santa Clause and other surprise guests, I don’t have time to mention all of them but a lot of surprise guests. We will have free photos with Santa.” Photos are being provided by Carbon Copy Center.

Free hot cocoa, popcorn will be available for everyone to enjoy for the Lighting Ceremony.

There will be live entertainment for guests to enjoy. “Wendy Grant from Wellington is in charge of this, as she was last year, she does our sound system and everything. She goes through the college and local talent to perform for us,” said Wood. Live entertainment will include dance groups and singers.

There will be vendor booths set up with items like homemade arts and crafts, baked goodies, kids games, and so much more. “We only have room for a couple more so please call Terry Willis, her phone number is 650-1209,” said Wood. There is no charge for vendors that sign-up to set up a booth.

This year committee members are asking for the community to help the Boys and Girls Club. “The Boys and Girls Club will be in charge of this donation cup by Santa and they serve such a wonderful purpose for our community, we are asking for you to bring donations,” said Wood. The B&GC has faced some financial difficulties the last few months they would appreciate any monetary donation large or small.

The Price Community Progress Committee is looking forward to starting off the Holiday Season with everyone in the Castle Country area.
