Ascension St Matthews Annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper will be held on Tuesday, February 28th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the church located on 522 North Homestead Boulevard in Price.

Pam Adams, an Event Organizer said, “Our event is an annual event that has been going on for many, many years and it’s open to the community.” The dinner will consist of pancakes, ham, scrambled eggs and a beverage. The pancake portion is an all you can eat item.

Adams continued, “The donation cost is $5 per person or $20 a family, so it’s a pretty good deal for all the way around.” This year’s supper will be served once again by the USU Eastern Men’ Basketball team, along with some church members.

The church’s gift shop will be open during the event for guests. “Most of our items are homemade and one of a kind, we have a few things that we buy, you know like crosses and things like that but can’t find in too many other places,” said Adams.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Church’s outreach community programs.
