The American Legion Baseball season has reached a pivotal point in the summer as teams wrap up the regular season, and prepare for the Southern Division Tournament Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
While most teams in the division have already completed the league portion of the schedule, Helper and Price will meet Tuesday in double-header action to close out regular season play. Helper is currently two wins back of St. George for second place, while Price sits in seventh at 3-11
Following the conclusion of the Price/Helper double-header on Tuesday, seven teams will compete in the Southern Division Tournament in Helper. Of the seven teams participating, the top four will advance to the state tournament to decide the representative at regionals.
