Ora Swenson Turner Owen, 85, passed away at home on December 9, 2017 with loved ones by her side.

She was born July 8, 1932 in Ferron, Utah to Delbert A. Swenson and Leah Wareham. Married Phillip Turner, later divorced. Married David Evan Owen in 1981.

Ora was very talented. She oil-painted, made many crafts, and made quilts for her children and many of her grandchildren. She was always involved with the schools, building floats, Valentine’s boxes, decorating proms, or
helping David shooting prom pictures. She always welcomed guests into her home and made them feel like they were family. She loved to travel and made it to 49 of the 50 states. Ora also had a few adventures to foreign countries. If somebody said “let’s go,” she was always the first in the car. She had many occupations in her life: working at Esquire Theater and Starlite Drive In, to nursing homes and hospitals.

She is survived by her husband, David Evan Owen of 36 years, brother, Ronald (Dorothy) Swenson, her children, Debbie Turner, Susan Turner, Peggy (Darrell) Valdez, Tim (Linda) Turner, Leah (Tony) Lister; step-children,
Kristine (Al) Di Benedetto, Karon (Nick) Katchision, David (Kristen) Owen Jr., Dianne Owen, Scotty Owen, Michael (Shianne) Owen; 30 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by sons, Dan Turner, Ben Turner, step-son, Jon Owen, grandson, Zeb Turner, infant brothers, Harold D. and Ray Swenson.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to David, Debbie, Leah, and the Lister family for the excellent care along with Rocky Mountain Hospice (Suzanne and Nicole). Ora will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
