Claudia Lee Smith, age 72, passed away February 3, 2018 in Price, Utah.  Claudia was born April 24, 1945 in Price, Utah to Peter Max Christensen and Alberta Chlora Semken Christensen.

Claudia was raised in Price and graduated from Carbon High School in 1963.  She married Thomas Lee Smith on July 16, 1963 in Provo, Utah.  She then attended beauty and nail school.  Claudia loved people and loved the wonderful relationships she was able to have with friends and family.

Claudia is survived by her adoring husband Thomas Lee Smith; children T.W. (Kelley) Smith, Temujin (Larry) Taylor, Heather Arrieta, and Peter (Amy) Smith; grandchildren Peter Conover Smith, Amylia Cate Smith, Duane Max Smith, Sophie Mercedes Arrieta, and Madison Lee Smith; siblings Max (Ann) Christensen, Dennis (Kelly) Christensen, and Kraig (Sue) Christensen.  Claudia was preceded in death by her parents Peter and Alberta Christensen, and her brother Charles (Darlene) Christensen.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Helper Utah Stake Center, 150 Ridgeway Street, Helper, Utah at 11:00 am.  Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.  Special thanks to Rachel Christensen, the staff at Castleview Hospital and Dr. Etzel.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org.  Family and friends may sign the online guestbook and share memories of Claudia at www.fausettmortuary.com.
