Utah Jazz point guard David Stockton will be making an appearance in Carbon County on Tuesday, August 7 at 10:00 am at the B-DAC on the campus of USU-Eastern.

Stockton, who was signed by the Jazz in March of 2018, averaged three points per contest in a reserve role throughout the final month of the season. After signing two 10-day contracts with the team, the Jazz extended Stockton throughout the remainder of the season.

The event will run in conjunction with the Junior Jazz program through Carbon County Recreation. It will be free for all to attend and Stockton will also give youth instruction on fundamentals related to the game of basketball.

The son of Hall of Fame point guard and Utah Jazz legend John Stockton, David Stockton played college basketball for Gonzaga University from 2010-2014.

Before joining the Jazz in 2018 Stockton also played for the Sacramento Kings, Cedevita Zagreb and the New Zealand Breakers. He was also named to the NBA D-League All-Rookie Second Team while playing for the Reno Bighorns in 2015.
