The general election is just weeks away with many voters looking to take advantage of the early voting process set to begin in five days.

“Early voting starts on the 23rd of October, running through till the 2nd of November at the Carbon County Administrative Building from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Thursday, then only till 5:00 pm on Friday the 2nd,” stated Interim Clerk Auditor, Seth Marsing. The County Administrative Building is located at 751 East 100 North. If individuals are not registered to vote they can do so at the polls up to the day of general elections.

Voters who need an absentee ballot must complete an application with the County Clerk’s office which enables citizens to vote in the general election if they are not available to vote at the polls. However, mail-in ballots must be postmarked on or before November 5.

On November 6, general elections will take place from 7:00 am till 8:00 pm, with several different polling locations throughout the county:

Price City voters                                        Carbon School District Office
