Thomas Kay Bell, age 93, passed away peacefully December 17, 2018 in Price.

He was born August 7, 1925 in Kenilworth, Utah to Harold and Fay Stilson Bell. Married Doreen Sadler, they later divorced. Married Margaret Gene Thompson on December 18, 1971 in Ogden, Utah; their marriage was later sealed in the Manti Temple on March 21, 1992 for time and all eternity. She died August 11, 2013.

Thomas was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He worked as a sheet metal mechanic for 30 years until his retirement from Hill Air Force Base. Thomas honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII aboard the U.S. Hailey DD556. He worked at various coal mines in Carbon and Emery Counties where he was blessed with many dear friends during his mining career. Thomas was a life member of the V. F.W. and a member of the Orangeville American Legion.

Survivors include his two grandchildren, Clay Hammon, Liberty, Utah, Regina Faxon, Farr West, Utah; step-daughter, Cheryl (Ken) Tolson, Louisiana; brother, Claud Bell, Orangeville; many loving nieces, nephews, neighbors and a community of dear friends.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Margaret; daughter, Pam Bell; son, Kevin Bell; two brothers, Kenneth (Carol), George (Ann); and a sister, Bonnie (Keith) Rasmussen; sister-in-law, Janet Bell.

Graveside services for Thomas will be Friday, December 21, 2018, 2:00 p.m., at the Orangeville City Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the Orangeville Ward Friday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. prior to graveside services. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Thomas online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
