Keven Jensen, age 85 passed from death to life on December 25, 2018.  He was born and raised in Cleveland, Utah on March 14, 1933 to Frank and Harriet Jensen. During his early years, he was taught the value of hard work, determination, and generosity. On June 5, 1954, Keven married Lois Wall Jensen, together they raised six children.

Keven began his career as a coal miner, after a few years, the mine shut down. He eventually started Jensen’s Masonry, with his brother, Marvin.  Keven quickly learned how to lay brick and built many homes in Carbon County, Emery County and various areas around Utah. In 1976, Keven started a trucking business.  Then, Keven sold this company and followed his dream to be a full-time farmer. He bought the Thayn farm in Wellington, Utah. He operated this farm until 2015 when he could no longer manage the hard work and responsibilities.   Keven served on Wellington Canal Company board. He was a member of Alpine Desert Edge Church in Huntington, Utah.

Keven’s greatest accomplishment wasn’t the different trades and businesses that he owned, but it was the simple investment he made the day he put his faith and trust in God’s son, Jesus. This decision was not only the turning point in his life but also influenced his children and later his grandchildren’s lives.
