Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and neighbor, Bonnie Ann Oliver Johnson, 85, passed way January 4, 2019 in Price.

She was born in Huntington, Utah on February 18, 1933 to Clealand W. and Anona Brasher Oliver. On August 20, 1955, she married Merlin (Parley) Johnson in Price and together they raised a wonderful family while making their home an inviting place for all to enjoy and admire.

Bonnie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a longtime resident of the area and a graduate of Carbon High School, College of Eastern Utah and she later attended Brigham Young University. Bonnie loved working in and around her home. She always had a project going at her home and was a perfectionist with anything she set her mind to. She enjoyed photography, handiwork, sewing, and was an incredible seamstress. She was passionate about the outdoors and loved capturing the beauty with her photography.

Bonnie worked as a librarian at Durrant Elementary, an advertising specialist for the Sun Advocate and sold real estate for many years. Bonnie was a member of the Castleview Hospital Pink Ladies where she made many lasting friendships. She will be sorely missed by her family and a community of friends.

Survivors include her loving husband, Parley Johnson, son, Steven P. (Jodi) Johnson, daughter, Susan J. (Scott) Jensen, all of Price; brother, Lynn (Juanita) Oliver, Cedar Ridge, CO; sister-in-law, Pearl Oliver, Price; 6 grandchildren, Sara, Carlie, Mindy, Jayson, Levi & Jorden; 14 great-grandchildren; and many longtime friends, neighbors and acquaintances who will miss her dearly.

Preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Michael S. Johnson; and a brother, Devon C. Oliver.

In honoring Bonnie’s wishes graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2019, 2:00 p.m., at the Cliffview Cemetery in Price. Friends are encouraged to visit with the family at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) from 12:30-1:30 p.m. prior to services.
