Our beloved one passed away January 29, 2019 from complications of pneumonia.

Sim was born September 23, 1953 to Mack Bunderson and Ruth (Becky) Beck Bunderson in Price Utah.

He was raised in Orangeville, UT. He later split his time between Wellington and Salt LakeCity.

Sim was a hard worker from the time he could work on his family’s ranch in Moore. He took great pride in driving cows with his brothers and father up the muddy and on the Ferron MT range. He was never shy to bail hay for local farmers in his summers as a youth to earn extra money. His strong work ethic carried with him his entire life.

Sim was honest, fair and compassionate in all he did. He had a great love for his family though he was a very private person. His greatest joys in his life were his children. He was so proud of them and their accomplishments. He was looking forward to the birth of his granddaughter in May that often brought tears to his eyes when speaking of his expected grand child.

Sim had a heroic spirt as reflected in his adventures with his best friend Dennis Ware. He was always fond of his traipsing escapades across Europe with his brother Lee or golfing with his brother Tracy. He enjoyed harassing his little sister Alice and bickering over the Raiders and Broncos rivalry. Sim spent time in Kenya with his beloved cousin Trent and had stories that you couldn’t even dream of. Sim started a successful business with his wife known as Filter Service & Testing. He valued his loyal employees and customers and made an impact on the community by donating to many local charities that many people were unaware of.

He loved going with his family to Lake Powell, to the family cabin at Ferron Reservoir, and four wheeling around the county. He especially loved hunting with his son Cody, son-in-law Nick, and beloved dog Yager. The trip of his lifetime was when he and Yolanda went to Hawaii for his 60 birthdays for an entire month and had the entire family join them for a fabulous week on Maui. He had a great pride for his daughter Rebecca who was daddy’s little girl and could never say no to and instantly fell in love with his daughter in law Taryn. He held a close friendship with his son in law Nick who was his friend and doctor till the end.

He is survived by wife Yolanda, son Cody (Taryn), daughter Rebecca Hanson, granddaughter Kathryn Hanson (Jessie Herrera), granddaughter Irie Rose Bunderson due in May.

Also survived by his mother Ruth (Becky) Bunderson, brother Lee Bunderson, Tracy (Natalie) Bunderson, sister Alice (Don) Ackerman.

Preceded in death by his father.
