The Carbon Lady Dinos ended their season perfect in region 14 play with a 73-30 victory over American Leadership Academy Thursday night in Price.

The Dinos having already secured the region crown , didn’t show any signs of letting up as they got down to business early scoring 37 points in the first half while holding American Leadership to 20 at halftime. They continued to pour it on in the second half outscoring them 36-10.

It was senior night so fittingly the Dinos were led in scoring by Jodi Noyes with a game high 21 points to go with her seven boards and three assists. Juniors Cora Lamborn chipped in with 15, Abbie Saccomano had 12 and Jordan Bianco had 11 points and 4 assists. The underclassmen showed that the lady Dinos program will be in good hands for next season.

American Leadership ended their season 3-14 overall and 2-10 in region play. They were led by senior Jessica Henstra with 11 points and junior Clara Morley with six points.

The Dinos end their regular season 19-2 overall and a perfect 12-0 in league play , never losing a game in the state of Utah as their two losses came from tournament play early in the season in Colorado. Currently they sit #2 in all of 3A behind Emery.
