Both the Carbon and Emery boys teams will open up state basketball tournament play on Saturday at Orem High School.

Carbon opens the tournament at 8:30 am, taking on the number one seeded Morgan Trojans. The Trojans come in at 16-5 overall and a Region 13 championship going undefeated through league play. Emery finished the season 15-7 overall comes in as the number four seed from Region 15 will take on South Summit who ended play with an identical 15-7 are the number two seed from Region 13.
