The United Way of Eastern Utah will host a dinner event on March 8 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Notre Dame Hope Center located at 175 North Carbon Avenue in Price.

“So, this is going to be kind of an informative dinner. We would like to spotlight some of our cornerstone partners, those are the folks who support us keep the doors open and the lights on,” said Director Cheryl Thayn. “We’re also invited a guest speaker to come that night and his name is Jack Holmes. He’s actually from United Way of Utah County, he’s been in the United Way biz for lots and lots of years. Actually, he is one of the originators of United of Eastern Utah back in 1991.” Cornerstone partners include Blue Diamond, Castleview Hospital, Emery Telcom, Lin’s Fresh Market, Market Express, Dominion Energy, Longwall West Inc., Rocky Mountain Power, Sutherlands, Simplot, Komatsu and Searle’s Save On Propane Inc.

The cost to attend the dinner is $5.00 per plate plus there will be a silent auction held during the event where all proceeds will go towards the many United Way of Eastern Utah programs.
