Our loving mother and grandmother, Carol Dalley Davis, 87, passed away March 3, 2019.

She was born January 3, 1932 in Cedar City, Utah to Otto Pidding and Cora Hulet Dalley. Carol married Von E. Davis, June 1, 1951 in the St. George Temple. Together they worked alongside each other for 50 years at Davis Crofts and Mountain View Motors in Price. Von preceded her in death on October 17, 2015.

Carol was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved the Lord, her family, Christmas, her flower garden and her roses. She valued education, music, and especially the Tabernacle Choir. Our mother was an amazing listener and a devoted daughter who traveled every other weekend to Summit to care for her father. She was a wonderful mother. Because she always welcomed our friends, our home was the hub of teenage activity. By her example we learned kindness and compassion. She will be dearly missed by her family.

Survived by her daughters, Laurie (Chris) Nelson, Price, Janice (Jon) Passic, Christiansburg, VA.; 5 grandchildren: Greg Nelson, Shauna Passic, Jyl Robinson, Lindsey Larsen and Ryan Nelson; and 15 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Von E. Davis; two sisters and one brother, Donna Davenport, Nedra Storey and Keith Dalley.

The family would like to thank Deborah Dow and Diane Dalpiaz from Symbii, and also a special thanks to her son-in-law, Chris Nelson.

Funeral service, Friday, March 8, 2019, 10:00 a.m., Price Third Ward Chapel (303 West 500 South) in Price where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment will be in the Summit Cemetery at 4:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
