A Saturday double-header ended with back-to-back losses for the Carbon Dinos as the team came up short against West Lake and Orem at Utah Valley University.

Hoping to ride the momentum from Friday’s region win over Providence Hall, Carbon fell one run short of West Lake in a 4-3 loss. The afternoon came to a close later with an 8-0 setback against Orem.

The two losses drop Carbon’s overall record to 3-6 on the season, but the team remains unbeaten in division play at 2-0. The Dinos will return to the field on Tuesday for a region contest with American Leadership in Spanish Fork.
