The Emery Lady Spartans continued the 2019 golf season with a third-place performance Wednesday afternoon at the Millsite Golf Course in Ferron.
Entering the fifth meet of the season in fourth place in the division, the Lady Spartans delivered a team score of 411. Richfield continued to dominate at the top of the leaderboard with a 317, easily topping second place Grand’s 383. Manti finished in fourth, followed by South Sevier, San Juan and North Sanpete.
Sydney Alton recorded the low round of the day for Emery with a 94. Angie Nielson and Teah Lowery both shot a 105, while Callee Jeffs gave the fourth score at 107.
Only four meets remain on the regular season schedule ahead of the State Tournament on May 7 and 8. The team will next travel to North Sanpete to compete at the Skyline Resort on April 10.
