-Press Release-

PRICE – Utah State Eastern Head Volleyball Coach Danielle Jensen announced her team’s 2019 schedule on Tuesday.

Jensen and the Eagles will take on new teams and play in new places in 2019.

The season will begin on August 15 with an alumni scrimmage inside the BDAC at 6 p.m.

On August 24 the Eagles will open their regular season schedule with a four-game tournament in Richfield at the Sevier Valley Center.

The Eagles will trave to Prescott, Arizona for the annual Roughrider Invitational at the end of August. Following the tournament in Prescott, the Eagles will play two games in Thatcher, Arizona.

After a weekend in Twin Falls for the Starr Coporate Invitational, the Eagles will travel to Sterling, Colorado and Scottsbluff, Nebraska back to back weekends in the middle of September. It will be the first time USU Eastern has traveled to those two cities under Coach Jensen.

Jensen says they will be playing 13 more games than last year’s schedule including a home non-conference game on August 26 against Eastern Arizona.

In their non-conference schedule alone the Eagles will play ten teams that should get votes in the NJCAA Volleyball Division I Preseason Poll.

USU Eastern’s 2019 Scenic West Athletic Conference schedule will begin on September 26 on the road against Salt Lake Community College.

The first home conference game is scheduled for Thursday October 10 against the College of Southern Nevada.
