On April 8, 2019 just after 0830 Price Police Officer Cameron Sartori was dispatched to 445 E 100 S, the residence of Tony Marvidikis, DOB 9-7-63.  It was reported to Officer Sartori that utilities had been shut off to the residence, some time prior, and an extension was now running from Mr. Marvidikis’ home to a nearby neighbor’s residence.  It was initially suspected that Mr. Marvidikis was allegedly stealing power.

Officer Sartori observed the power cord himself, and then observed Mr. Marvidikis seated in a vehicle in the back yard.  Sartori allegedly saw in plain view, Mr. Marvidikis holding in one hand an item of drug paraphernalia, and in the other hand a small baggie with what appeared to be methamphetamine.

Upon seeing Sartori, Marvidikis allegedly tried to hide the items.  Sartori spoke with Marvidikis, who was allegedly cooperative with Sartori at this point.

Sartori explained the original reason for the contact, and Marvidikis explained he had permission from the neighbor to use the power, and the neighbor would, in fact, confirm this.

Sartori continued to deal with the items he’d seen in plain view and ultimately, 26.4 grams of methamphetamine (nearly an ounce), 4.1 grams of heroin, 9 total Suboxone strips (five of them individually packaged), $452 in cash, other pills, numerous items of paraphernalia, and numerous drug-related notes were allegedly seized as a result of the contact.

Sartori arrested Mr. Marvidikis for Possession With Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, Heroin, and Suboxone, all felony charges, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.  The County Attorney’s Office will review the report to determine appropriate formal charges.

According to court records, Mr. Marvidikis has 22 previous incidents, involving drug offenses, obstructing, DUI, hit and run, domestic violence assault, forgery, and retail theft.

In addition, Officer Dave Wilkinson, who assisted Sartori, observed several ordinance violations and issued Mr. Marvidikis a civil citation for those issues.
