PRICE – Utah State Eastern Softball will take on the Colorado Northwestern Spartans in a four-game series this Friday and Saturday at the Carbon County Fairgrounds.

It is the first time the Eagles will play the Spartans as their first series in Rangely was canceled in early March due to weather.

Coming into the series the Eagles sit in fourth place in the Scenic West Athletic Conference while the Spartans sit in sixth place.

USU Eastern has won six of their last 12 games in conference play after starting 0-7.

Friday’s doubleheader will begin at 1 p.m. and Saturday’s games are schedule for noon.

All four games will be broadcasted on the Scenic West Digital Network at scenicwestnetwork.com

Ticket prices for the games will $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and children ages 13-18, $3 for children 5-12 and children under five years of age are free.

USU Eastern students, faculty and staff will receive free admission with University ID.

This is the second to last home series for the Eagles, they will play their final home series against Salt Lake before finishing the season on the road the final two weeks of the season.
