The Carbon County Chamber of Commerce is looking forward to another year of their Chamber Snap Shot Passport program. They are currently looking for businesses to be a part of this year’s passport with the deadline quickly approaching.

“So, April 19 is the deadline. We will start working on it that Monday so if you do get it in a little later over the weekend that’s fine, but we do try to have all of them by April 19. Again, you do have to be a Chamber Member to be in this so you know if you would like to join the chamber and be in this booklet, we can do that as well, you know when they call we can go over all that different information there,” said Executive Chamber Director, Deserae Stevenson. The prices to participate are full color/full spread ad is $535.00, full color/full page ad is $275.00 and full color half page ad is $145.00.

The Snap Shot Passport will be distributed to all elementary and middle schools by mid-May. “We want to make sure we are getting everybody involved in this program. So what it is it’s our version of our Chamber Directory with a twist. You do have to be a Chamber Member to be in the booklet to put an ad space in it. But you also assign an activity for a kid to go out and do throughout the community and it shows them what we have in our area, what businesses we have in the area, it just shows them that there is a lot to do here, you just have to look for it,” said Stevenson. This is a great opportunity for children to be active over the summer while learning about the different businesses and services in the area. With each business listed in the passport, children will visit those businesses, complete the activity and get a stamp in their passport. At the end of the summer, the Carbon County Chamber will throw a party to celebrate the completion of all the passports.
