Dean Lamar Bryson, passed away at home on April 17, 2019, at the age of 91.

He was born on November 10, 1927 to Allen and Corrilla (Glover) Bryson and grew up in Bountiful, Utah. Dean was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the 34th Regiment 23rd Division of the Japan Occupation Force from 1946-48.

Dean attended BYU and married his sweetheart, Bonnie Jean Rasmussen in the Salt Lake Temple on June 7, 1949; she preceded him in death on February 1, 2016. Dean had a successful career as a certified public accountant, working for many years with the federal government and then with Smuin & Rich in Price. He loved the outdoors, particularly back-country elk hunting and family campouts. He will be fondly remembered by his family as honorable, faithful, strong, protective, kind-hearted, meek, and fun. Dean served his family, his country, his God and church, and the community faithfully his entire life.

Dean is survived by his children, Dean L. Bryson, Jr. (Dixie), Kay Bunnell (Craig), Lynn Bryson (Lori), and Linda Callor (Jeff); and he leaves twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Dean was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie and their son Michael.

Funeral service, Saturday, April 20, 2019, 11:00 a.m., Price Eighth Ward Chapel where the family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment, Price City Cemetery with military honors accorded by the American Legion Post #3.
