Helper City will host their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 20 at 9:00 am at the Helper City Park. Event Organizer Sara Pugliese took time to speak of this annual tradition and how the community has made it possible to host the event each year through their many donations.

“The community has really come together. Originally my goal was to have about 3,500 eggs and we definitely surpassed that. Right now, we have about 5,000 eggs total so there will be no shortage of eggs or prizes or anything else there,” said Pugliese. The hunt is opened to all children up to 12 years of age. There will be sections designated for each age group.

Pugliese explained how she became to be in charge of the hunt, “It’s actually really cool because by grandpa use to be involved with it and it’s just kind of – I’ve always volunteered with and eventually I took it over because I enjoyed it so much. So this will be my third year of being in charge of it all.” She has been volunteering with the Easter Egg Hunt for the past five years.

Families are urged to arrive before the 9:00 am start time so that the children can get to their appointed age group section. Any questions about the event please feel free to stop by the Helper City Office located at 58 South Main Street or call (435) 472-5391.
