Three Emery Spartan baseball players have been selected to participate in the 3A All-Star game, which will take place Saturday, June 1 in Spanish Fork.

Securing three roster spots on the All-Star squad, Emery will be represented by seniors Cade Brazier, Koda Alton and Kyson Stilson. The All-Star game is a yearly exhibition giving standouts another opportunity to perform on the diamond.

After leading the team throughout the season on the mound, Brazier will showcase his arm one last time at the high school level. Finishing the season 4-3 on the mound with a 1.50 ERA, Brazier led the team with 38 strikeouts, while only allowing nine earned runs this season.

Alton earned the All-Star nod after leading the team in RBIs in 2019 with 18. Accumulating a .339 batting average, Alton laced 21 hits, seven doubles and one home run. Also contributing on the mound, Alton finished with a 3-2 record as a starter, gathering an ERA of 3.5.

Stilson continued his consistent play during his senior season as a key component in the infield for the Spartans. At the plate he finished with a .324 average, 35 hits, nine RBIs and one double.

The Spartans ended the 2019 season 11-12 overall, with an 8-4 mark in Region 15 play. Entering the state tournament as the No. 3 seed from the division, Emery finished the tournament 1-2, defeating Grand, but falling to both Carbon and Summit Academy.
