The next Music, Meals and Mingle on Main will take place on Thursday, July 11 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Main Street in Price. This event is in conjunction with Culture Connection summer concerts taking place at the Price City Peace Gardens on Thursday evenings.

“Let’s go down on Main Street, let’s get together, let’s spend some money in the local businesses and have a good time doing it,” said an Event Organizer, Cheryl Thayn. “About 80 percent of the businesses on Main Street will be open that night. They’ll have places to set out front. We’ve encouraged them to put out board games out, deck of cards, a magazine just something for folks to come sit because we will be enjoying the cars of course.” There will be several businesses offering various sales and promotions throughout the evening. Plus, there will also be a car show taking place plus a cruise night for spectators to enjoy.

A Kid’s Corner will be set up in the parking lot of Banasky Insurance which is on the corner of Carbon Avenue and Main Street. “So, we’re going to have a table set up there for kids – I’m hoping for to find some folks to help us with face painting, there will be chalk art going on there. We’re hoping to put a little screen up maybe have Cars 2 showing there,” said Thayn. Any individuals who wish to volunteer at the Kids Corner may contact (801) 678-0948 for more details.

There will be several food trucks on hand to purchase dinner items. “We’re going to have a lot of food trucks this time. We had Smokin Roadhouse Grill last time and they are coming again, Crepe Expectation – we all know who they are, they’re local and dear to our heart, Brazil Utah is another truck, Hola Hawaiian Ice, and then we’ve got Bruce’s Barbeque, Falafel Tree, and we also have Navajo Taco Trucks,” said an Event Organizer, Stacy Johnson. Folks can sit and enjoy their dinner while watching the Greek Dancers perform for the evening’s Culture Connection.
