The Greek Festival will once again play host to a 5K run that will coincide with the annual Greek Festival on Thursday, July 11 beginning at 8:30 p.m..

Registration for the the fifth annual 5K run is currently open at Carbon Recreation’s office, located at the Fairgrounds Event Center in Price. Registration will also be available the night of the event at 8:00 p.m..

Unlike past events, this year’s 5K will take place at night on the Thursday before the Greek Festival’s weekend events. Typically the event is held early on a Saturday morning

The fee for the race is $15.00, which includes a t-shirt and a $5.00 food certificate that can be used at the Greek Festival. The fee for families is $25.00, which comes with a $10.00 food certificate and no t-shirts.

The deadline to register for a t-shirt and the food certificate is Monday, July 8 at 5:00 pm. After that date you will be allowed to register the night of the event at 8:00 pm at the Greek Church.
