FutureINDesign (FIND) is hosting an Information Seminar on Monday, August 5 at 6:00 pm at their business location of 720 West Price River Drive which is the old Bealls building. This free event is open to anyone over the age of 18 years of age in the community who is looking for a new career or would like to obtain new skills.

“FutureINDesign is a non-profit organization that we are offering a new career opportunity for individuals in Carbon and Emery counties. With a huge shift in the Amazon effect people want their products soon so that’s bringing manufacturing back to the United States. So Manufacturing 4.0 is a training program where FutureINDesign trains individuals on soft skills and professionalism and in the hard skills,” said FIND Representative, Brenda Adderly.  Participants will also get an opportunity for advancement courses, plus receive a certificate of completion and could obtain college credit.

Interested individuals are encouraged to attend the free Information Seminar in order to learn more about the FuntureINDesign program. “Come out, meet our instructors and see the building, see what’s going on in there. We’re going to give you information and details about the program and what to expect. Then you’ll have the opportunity that night to apply and then you’ll also be able to signup for an interview. The interviews are between August 11 and 16 and we just interview everyone to make sure they are a great fit and then the third session will begin September 3,” explained Adderly. The program is a 10-week course and after completion of the course the individual could obtain employment with Blacksmith International who is a manufacturing company that has partnered with FuturINDesign.
