Jeanette Marie Krauss, 40, passed away July 17, 2019 at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo.

Born January 13, 1979 in Grass Valley, California to Tim Michael and Anna Marie Gileno. She was later adopted by John Krauss. Jeanette married Paul Dominic Kokal, later divorced.

Jeanette was a kind and vibrant soul who had a heart of gold. She was very compassionate, loving and willing to help anyone. She shared a special love for nature and enjoyed the tranquility of the outdoors. Jeanette loved writing, drawing, listening to music and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She had a certain flare about fashion and loved her clothing and accessories. Jeanette will be sorely missed by her family.

She is survived by one daughter and one son, Victoria Kokal and Jesey Johnson, Payson, Dominick Kokal, parents, Anna Gileno and John Krauss, all of Columbia; grandsons, Cody and Dustin Johnson, Payson; two brothers and one sister, Johnny (Aida) Krauss, Hawthorne, CA, Bert (Niki) Krauss, Judi (Orlando) Krauss, all of Columbia; many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her grandparents and uncle Donald Medina.

Funeral service, Wednesday, July 24, 2019, 11:00 a.m., East Carbon Ward Chapel. Family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and at the church Wednesday one hour prior to service.
