Emery Spartan tennis traveled to Monroe on Tuesday to face the South Sevier Rams, returning home with a 3-2 region victory.

The Lady Spartans who are coming off a 3-2 loss to Grand are having an up and down season early on. Before the loss,  they defeated San Juan 5-0.

Jordynn Wolford and Carlie Bennett powered through their matches to win in three sets. The doubles team of Morgan Hess and Shaylee Grange took their match in straight sets 6-3 and 7-5.

The Lady Spartans will take to the court again Wednesday at Millard.
