“There’s going to be great speakers, there’s several breakout sessions and some keynote speakers that are going to come speak to us. And just show up. It’s a free event and he’s really putting it on for our communities, for Carbon and Emery counties to really try and help us improve our economy and change things around here,” said Commissioner Hopes. The Rural Business Summit will provide new opportunities to help businesses expand and tap into the talent pool of rural Utah. Gain insights and best practices in rural employment as you listen to the business resource panel. Individuals can take advantage of networking opportunities and browse the business exhibit booths. Grab some lunch at the food truck roundup while enjoying live music and entertainment.

“It is a great opportunity for us to let him know what our concerns are. I know leading up to this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday we have meetings with Congressman Curtis prior to the Rural Business Summit. So, there is going to be a lot of discussion about what our community needs, what we have coming up and what we can use help on,” stated Commissioner Hopes.  This occasion is perfect for any employers who need workers, businesses who want to expand, entrepreneurs who need direction and local leaders who want to help their community.
