After a 5-0 victory against Wasatch Academy last week, the Emery Spartans would travel to Richfield Tuesday hoping for the same results, well those hopes were dashed quickly as the Wildcats would not drop a match to Emery, winning 5-0.

In a complete reversal of their prior meeting with Wasatch Academy, Emery was unable to win one match against Richfield. With only a few matches left, the Spartans look to get back on track with the state tournament taking place October 11 and 12 at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City.

Emery will host Carbon on Thursday for their final home competition of the season. The match is set to get underway at 3:30 p.m. in Castle Dale.
