The Pinnacle Panthers volleyball squad took to the court on Saturday for a home match with Monument Valley (7-1 overall, 3-1 in region and #1 RPI), unfortunately it was not meant to be with Pinnacle falling in straight sets 3-0.

The Panthers struggles continue this season as they have lost their last five matches. Currently they sit at 3-12 overall and 0-2 in region with a 18 RPI.

Monument Valley came out early winning the first set 25-12. They would go on to win the next two sets 25-22 and 25-7. Monument Valley is tied with Green River for first place in Region 19 standings after defeating the Pirates later on Saturday.

Pinnacle will travel to Montezuma Creek on Tuesday to take on Whitehorse (3-5, 0-2 and #13 RPI). The next time the Panthers will be home is October 15 when they will take on Whitehorse, this will also be the last home game of the season. That contest is set to begin at 6:15 p.m..
