Logan, UT – The USU Eastern rodeo team traveled to Logan, Utah on September 27 and 28 to compete in the Rocky Mountain Region Rodeo at Utah State University.

Austin Allred finished 2nd in the first round and 2nd in the average for the Bull Riding Event.  This impressive placing helps Austin maintain his 3rd place standings in region.  Will Magnuson won the short round in the tie down roping event and 2nd in the average.  This moves Will into 4th place in region for tie down roping.  Morgan Jensen won the first round in the barrel racing and this helps keep her lead in the standings.

Both teams as a whole maintained their position in region with the women’s team sitting 4th and the men’s at 7th.

The team will be competing in their final fall rodeo this coming weekend, October 4th and 5th, against Utah Valley University in Spanish Fork.
