Marie L. D’Ambrosio Helm, 92, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on October 14, 2019 in her home surrounded with love.

Marie was born to Angelo and Theresa D’Ambrosio on November 24, 1926. She went to school at Carbon High School. She married Dale on October 2, 1946 in Las Vegas. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years. However, her main job became her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and amazing grandmother. She dedicated summers to her granddaughters hosting countless sleepovers with the neighborhood kids and welcoming them all.

Marie is preceded in death by her parents, Angelo and Theresa D’Ambrosio, husband W. Dale Helm, son’s Douglas and Laurence Helm.

Marie is survived by her daughter Karen, granddaughters, Denise husband Brian, and Rene’. Her great grandchildren Ashton, Stephanie husband Kyle, Dale, Kyle, Ryan, and Kiera. Her great great grandchildren Braxton and Bellamie.

Pallbearers Lance D’Ambrosio, Trent D’Ambrosio, Troy D’Ambrosio, Brian James, Dale Pierz, Kyle James, Ryan James. Honorary Pallbearers Kyle Ames, Braxton Ames, Bellamie Ames, Bobby Haines. Rose bearers Ashton Pierz, Stephanie Ames, and Kiera James.

The family of Marie wish to extend their sincere thanks to her caregivers at Hospice of the Valley and Visiting Angels. Also, to the home health agencies and hospitals used throughout her journey.

Funeral service Saturday, October 19, 2019, 10:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home, Father Albert of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, officiating. Rosary and Visitation, 7:00 pm, Friday, October 18, 2019, at Mitchell Funeral Home.
