The Pinnacle Lady Panthers volleyball squad played their final match on Saturday at the 1A State Championship Tournament against Wayne, the #14 seed. The Panthers would fall in straight sets 3-0.

Pinnacle finished the season 3-18 overall and went 0-6 in Region 19 play. Led in most categories this season by senior Stephanie Sasser, the Panthers will be looking for the underclassmen this year to step up next season.

Junior Destinee Andrews along with sophomores Samanths Kessler and Kemery Stuckenschneider played big for the team this year and they will need to be prepared to lead it next season.

Region 19 was a tough place to reside this year with three teams in the top 15 of all of 1A, and one of those teams, Monument Valley, ranked top three.

Now the focus at Pinnacle will turn to winter sports. Check back with Castle Country Radio for the latest news when basketball season rolls around.
