Helen R Wright, 88, died November 6, 2019 in Ferron, Utah.  Helen was born November 11, 1930 in Kenilworth Utah to Oscar Rasmussen and Evelyn Caldwell Rasmussen.  She married Keith Norwood Wright in Ferron, Utah December 31, 1947.

Helen spent her early years in Kenilworth where her father worked in the coal mines.  They would travel to Ferron for the summer where they had a small family farm.  Helen enjoyed school and excelled in music.  After the end of World War II, she met a returned veteran, Keith Wright, and they were married December 31, 1947 at her parent’s home in Ferron.  They were married 61 years and had seven children together.

Helen worked for many years at the nursing home in Ferron as an LPN.  After her children were grown, she returned to college and obtained a degree in social work.  Helen devoted her life to helping others.  She was a life long member of the LDS church, holding many positions along the way.  She rarely missed Sunday services, and maintained her unwavering faith to the end of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband along with a brother, Norman, sister, Elaine and daughter in law Terrie Wright.  She is survived by her children, Loye (Mark) West, Annibella Utah, Kenneth Wright and Maureen Copatch, Ferron, Richard Wright and Ronald (Sandy) Wright, Clawson, Stuart (Nhung) Wright, Tampa, Florida, and Brad (Rocio) Wright, Portland Oregon.  She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 9, 11 a.m., at the Blue Hills ward LDS church in Ferron, with a viewing one hour prior.  Interment to follow at the Ferron cemetery at noon. Services are being coordinated by Fausett Mortuary. To express condolences
