LeAnn Bell, age 68, of Orangeville, passed away November 11, 2019. She was born in Kenilworth, Utah to Dorr William Hanson and Mary Elizabeth Hanson on October 4, 1951. She was married and sealed to Randy Bell on June 30, 1972 in the Manti Temple. Together they have seven children and 23 grandchildren.

LeAnn was the consummate caretaker and homemaker with a very nurturing personality. She loved her children and grandchildren deeply; they were her pride and joy. She was at her happiest with family around and while caring for others.

LeAnn’s professional career also revolved around caring for others. She was an RN and BSN and worked in the nursing and home health fields for 38 years before retiring from Rocky Mountain Home Health in 2011. She served patients throughout Emery and Carbon counties. She went above and beyond her job requirements as a nurse, often washing her patient’s clothing and bringing them food. She would also continue caring for her patients after they were discharged. Service was a key value in LeAnn’s life, and she taught her children the importance of service by example.

LeAnn was a lifelong, faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in many capacities. She especially enjoyed serving in the primary and young women’s programs.

Besides her devotion to her patients and family, LeAnn enjoyed gardening, making floats for local parades, photography, and exploring nature. She loved her time as a member of the women’s cantata choir.
