Alberta Faure Larson passed away peacefully on December 10, 2019, at the home of her daughter Denise Sealey in Sandy.  She was surrounded by her loving family and dear friends.

Alberta, also known as Gram, was born on October 14, 1928 and was the eldest of two children.  Her primary occupation was raising her four children but enjoyed working at a local shoe store in Price, Utah for several years.

Among Alberta’s favorite hobbies were cooking, gardening, walking and when possible, traveling.  Her motto in life was “keep moving.” She loved family get-togethers and was a gracious host.  She was always prepared with a cup of tea and a cookie for any drop-in visitor.  In her last years she enjoyed calling family and friends on the telephone, just to check in.  She loved her grandchildren dearly and never failed to indulge them.

Alberta is survived by her son, Tarkel Curtis (Tia) Larson III; daughters, Simone Bryner, Denise (Paul) Sealey, Elice (Michael) Straup; four grandchildren, Teresa Bryner Pisano, Ellison Sealey, Jolie Sealey and Curtis Straup.

Alberta was preceded in death by her husband Tarkel Curtis Larson Jr; brother Albert Faure; son-in-law, Merrill Bryner.

“Grieve not… nor speak of me with tears… but laugh and talk of me… as though I were beside you… I loved you so… was heaven here with you.”

A funeral mass will be celebrated at St Thomas Moore Catholic Church, 3015 E Creek Rd. Sandy, Utah 84093. Interment, Cliffview Cemetery, Price, Utah. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome and may share memories of Alberta online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
