On Friday afternoon the Lady Panthers took on the Dugway Mustangs for the second time this season. Dugway came to town back in December for the Panther Winter Classic, and would fall to the host team 47-27. This time on the Mustangs home floor the result wasn’t much different with Pinnacle getting the 32-15 win.

Pinnacle jumped out to a 19-10 halftime lead and would only allow Dugway to score five points in the second half.

The Panthers were led by Stephanie Sasser with 14 points and eight rebounds along with three steals. Destinee Andrews would add six points to go with her seven rebounds and Kemery Stuckenschneider had four points with three assists and three steals.

The Lady Panthers are now winners of their last four games and sit at 6-4 on the season and hold the #13 in the RPI.

The Panther have been led this season by senior Stephanie Sasser who is averaging 15.2 points per game and 12.6 rebounds which is good enough for #4 in the state across all classifications. Sophomore Kemery  Stuckenschneider leads the team with 1.8 assists per game and 1.9 steals per game.

Up next are two road games for Pinnacle on January 7, they will head to Escalante and then the next day they will be in Hildale to take on Water Canyon.

The next home contest will be January 14 as they will open Region 19 play against Green River. Tip-off is set for 7:00.
