The Pinnacle Panthers finished up a two game road trip in Hildale where they faced the Water Canyon Wildcats on Wednesday night. The Wildcats would jump out to an early lead and never look back winning the game 63-38.

Pinnacle got off to a slow start scoring just 4 points in the first quarter and found themselves in a 33-19 hole going into halftime. By the end of the third the deficit would grow to 17 points.

Melissa Jessop led all scorers with 33 for Water Canyon. Nikki Jessop would add 14 and Shanna Barlow had 12.

For the Panthers Stephanie Sasser would score 25, Destinee Andrews would add five and Alyssa MacDonald scored four.

The Panthers sit at 7-6 and #13 in the RPI for 1A. Before this loss Pinnacle was riding a four game win streak.

They will look to start a new streak on Tuesday when they kickoff Region 19 play as Green River will visit Price. Tip-off is set for 7.

After the Green River game they will have a non-conference match-up with Grand on January 21.
