The Lady Dinos have gone through the season amassing a 14-6 record and earning the No. 5 spot in the Utah High School Activities Association RPI rankings. Tuesday night they welcomed the Grand County Red Devils to Price. They were not gracious host as they defeated Grand 83-18.

Grand County has struggled this season. They only returned one senior off of last years team and have a roster that is loaded with freshman.

The Dinos were led by Cora Lamborn with 16 points, she also grabbed eight rebounds and dished out four assists. Jordan Bianco scored 12,  going 4-of-5 from behind the arc while gathering five steals and dishing out three assists. Abbie Saccomanno added 10 points to go with seven steals and seven assists.

The Dinos jumped out to an early 47-5 lead at halftime, then came out in the third quarter and only allowed two points. Grand would score 11 in the fourth but it was too little too late.

Carbon has three games left in the regular season and it all starts Thursday night when they welcome the Spartans to their gym. These two teams met back on January 9 at the Spartan Center and Carbon walked away with the one point 39-38 win off of Jordan Bianco’s late go ahead free throws. They will welcome Richfield to town on February 4. Carbon lost to the Wildcats back on January 21, 62-56. They will end the season on the road against San Juan, Carbon took the 53-50 win the last time these two teams met.

The game on Thursday will be broadcast live on KRPX 95.3 The Peak. Pre-game will start at 6:30 with tip-off to follow at 7.  You can also stream the game live at castlecountryradio.com or by using the KRPX streaming app.
