The Price City Library is offering a wide array of fun activities for community members to stop in and enjoy during the week.

“On Monday’s we have Lego Free Play and it is for six to 11-year olds, 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. We are still looking for donations of any Legos if some parents want to get rid of them, as far as their kids have moved on, we would take any donations that they have,” said Library Assistant, Tawnya Kulow. Parents that would like to make a Lego donation can take it to directly to the library.

There is a newly developed Dungeons and Dragons League that takes place every Tuesday evening from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm for students ages 12 to 18 years old.  “This is a game I’m not real familiar with but I have been learning a lot. We have a great little group that has started, they come in every Tuesday, 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. They have their Dungeon Master and they have started playing, they’re loving it, we have probably about five young men that have joined that,” said Kulow. If interested in participating contact the library or stop by to register. Officials are currently organizing a Dungeons and Dragons group for adults and further details will come at a later time.

The library has designated an hour on Thursday afternoons to help adults relieve some stress. “Thursdays we are starting a Stress Relief Adult Coloring Session at 1:00 pm. It’s really fun. I’m excited. We needed something, been trying to do programs that will hit all ages and so this was a great program to start for the adults,” explained Kulow. The library will supply some coloring pencils for the activity but participants are invited to bring their own coloring utensils/supplies to use during the event if they wish.

Another great event for adults will be the Sour Dough Workshop set to take place at the library in April. “This is a class that we’re going to have on Wednesday, April 1 at 6:00 pm. We have a wonderful lady that has agreed to come and teach us how to take care of the sourdough start and to give us recipes and tips on how to keep it going. Also, she will have sourdough starts there for sale, just a few of them, if someone is interested in that,” said Kulow. To register for this event please contact the library.

Community members can stay informed on all of the activities taking place at the Price City Library by visiting their Facebook page or by calling the library at (435) 636-3188.
