Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend, Mary Arline Huff Anderson, 88, passed away March 23, 2020 in Price.

She was born October 6, 1931 in Castle Gate, Utah.  Arline was the only daughter of eight children born to Manson and Mary Allred Huff.  On June 27, 1948, she married the love of her life, James Basil Anderson in Castle Gate, Utah.  He preceded her in death on December 25, 2009.

Arline was a lifelong resident of Carbon County who owned and operated Anderson Upholstery in Wellington.  She loved working with her hands, especially restoring interiors in vehicles.  She was a talented seamstress who loved handiwork, cross-stitching, knitting, making afghans or finding any project to keep her busy.  When she wasn’t caring for her business, she loved tending to her beautiful flower garden.  Arline loved flowers and it was evident by the way her immaculate yard looked.

She was quick-witted, sassy and told you exactly what she thought.  She was a true smarty pants who loved to tease.  Arline brought great joy to family and friends and her smile could light up any room.  Arline will be dearly missed by her family and a community of friends.

Arline is survived by her son and daughter, James Scott Anderson, Spring Glen, Lorain Stevenson, Price; brother, Norman (Colleen) Huff, St. George; sister-in-law, Annette Huff, Price; brother-in-law, Gene Anderson, Leeds, UT; eight grandchildren, Jamie (Melissa), Jeremy (Melinda), Jennifer, Jon (Keira), Kade, Casey (Lacey), Brandon and Lacey (Kalib); 15 great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.

Arline was preceded in death by her parents, son, Lonnie Anderson; six brothers, Orland, Dennis, Darwin, Vernon, Paul and Neldon Huff; and son-in-law, Jimmy Stevenson.
